"We Connect, Support & Empower You"

Community Connector Service

Knowing where to go to for information, programmes and social services that you & your family need to help yourselves, can be hard. CCS is here to make that step easy for you.

What is the Community Connector Service?

In  the important time of rebuilding our communities health and resilience after the lockdown our small Community Connector team works in our local community of Māngere-Otahuhu and Otara-Papatoetoe to empower people and families to access the  support, information and services they may need or are entitled to  from a range of government local government and not for profit community organisations so that they can can become financially, physically empowered and resilient.

These areas included information about how to connect with information about enterprise, employment, employment opportunities, health, governance, education and digital literacy. You can be connected to these services one-on-one, in a community group or through a gathering at your local church. We will can bring with us a government community connector from MSD who can help us to access the services of nineteen government departments.

Whatever your need to empower your community and your family, we can connect you.
